Penalties For A Third Offense

A third drunk driving offense is considered a felony. For a felony OWI, you are in danger of:

  • Up to five years in jail, plus probation
  • Up to a $5,000 fine plus court costs and probation fees
  • Up to 180 days of community service
  • Revocation of your driver's license for at least one year
  • Potential forfeiture of your vehicle to the state
